Because of their wood-like material, open pods are habitats for insects and attract mold. Therefore, Jacs' earring pods are carefully hand-picked from healthy jacaranda trees. This step in the design process is very necessary to ensuring a healthy jacaranda earring product. 

Additionally, JACs Earrings are not crafted from miscellaneous jacaranda pieces. Each pair of JACs' are made from a single un-opened pod. Therefore, each piece fits comfortably within the other. See video below👇
